    Wot's all this about? Some kind of game? Jigsaw puzzle championships or some such?

    I'd expect it to be in LR if it's just stuff about some game a small number of you enjoy playing. Or is this "World Cup" (awarded for reasons that aren't apparent from the OP) one of those "bread and circuses" things designed to distract the feeble-minded masses?

    EDIT: Ah, I see now: it appears from my research that there's an Association Football tournament happening shortly, and the United Kingdom is going to participate. "Bread and circuses" then
