But evidently that wasn't obvious enough for you.

And you call _me_ a cretin?

What I asked for was evidence of all that he stated as fact, so far all you have produced is a name, so go back to his post and then come back with references to back up his specific claims.

Is it possible you didn't notice the link I provided?

And failed to spot the Wikipedia extract I quoted, again, to make my point extra obvious.

(For some reason I'm beset by cretins today. Must be the weather or something.)

Pick out the bits where is says that all doctors ingored him. If you are saying it is there then you should have no problem.

Threaded never said that all doctors ignored Semmelweis. That was his problem - Many were actually hostile towards him.

And if it helps, here's an even shorter extract of the huge five-line schpiel I quoted earlier:

Semmelweis's hypothesis, that there was only one cause, that all that mattered was cleanliness, was extreme at the time, and was largely ignored, rejected or ridiculed.

update - Government now being forced to make payments to children damaged by MMR vaccine

sorry ...but it's in the Mail

In a six-page judgment, they said: ‘Robert was a more or less fit boy who, within the period usually considered relevant to immunisation, developed a severe convulsion... and he then went on to be epileptic and severely retarded.

‘The seizure occurred ten days after the vaccination. In our view, this cannot be put down to coincidence.

'It is this temporal association that provides the link. It is this that has shown on the balance of probabilities that the vaccination triggered the epilepsy.

                Good spot, troll.

It's actually quite plausible that a triple vaccine could disrupt the balance of gut bacteria, which one way or another could result in the release of toxins that affect the brain.

Its also more than probable that you're talking utter bollux.

                    Huh?
It is quite possible that the seizure was a completely unrelated event. It is difficult to exaggerate what a stupid comment that is.
