I shall be driving home at 12, picking up daughter, prescription, shopping then leaving car at garage.
Tomorrow I shall be taking daughter to piano lesson, then riding and constructing a piggy pagoda in the garden.
Sunday i shall be doing BUGGER ALL.

As little as humanly possible.

I was planning to get out on the bike on Sunday but after last nights run in with the greenfly I'll probably give it a miss.

I shall be mostly drinking beer/wine, falling asleep in my chair, and barbecuing stuff to smouldering cinders. After all, it is gonna be my birthday on sunday, so why not?

Sounds nice having an acre + garden. But when you are not here a lot of the time, it costs a lot when you decide to do something.

My solution when I was living elsewhere was to turn it all into lawn. I started off by renting the biggest petrol lawnmower I could, but ended up buying one.

It would take the best part of the day to cut, rake, cut again, rake again (repeat and rinse until done). Hard physical work but well enjoyable and I'd start a bonfire in the late afternoon which would last until the early hours. Spuds in the fire, plenty of salady stuff and adequate reserves of beer and wine rounded the day off nicely.

Sunday I plan on washing and polishing Wilma, our 1949 Buick. Then sitting in the garden some more.
