I have an old schoolfriend coming to stay Saturday night. Depending on where we decide to go, his visit will probably require some managing. You see, the thing is he's Jamaican & he speaks in a heavy patois. But he's white! His family have been there generations. We'll have to avoid certain areas of Bristol as anybody hearing him will assume he's taking the piss & we'll get lynched!

Got the afternoon off (paid - gift from ClientCo, bless)
So I shall plumb in the "new" ebay second hand dishwasher.
Then I shall sulk and have a beer when the plumbing has gone wrong and the kitchen is knee deep in water.
Tonight is having the neighbours round for a barbecue and a few beers and chilling in front of my chiminea.
Tomorrow is DIY.
Sunday the "outlaws" are coming over for a barby and a few beers.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

It's the original rather than the copy they usually put out, so I doubt flash photography is allowed !! Might sneak a few photos though.Originally posted by cailin maith View PostHow cool - do you think you'll be able to take pics of it?
Apparently this is only the 5th time in the last 100 years that it's been on public display.Comment

You might as well just nip onto the prom and pop into sands. I'm sure it would have pretty much the same effect.Originally posted by gricerboy View PostI have an old schoolfriend coming to stay Saturday night. Tonight some steaks on the bbq and a nice rioja
tomorrow a trip to the garden centre and some weeding, followed by yet another bbq and some beers.
Sunday, the full monty roast beef, manged to get some fresh horseradish, so some home made sauce is in order.

£10 paddling pool from Argos, beer in the fridge... oh yes, welcome to chavsville.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

For some reason I've been cajoled into doing a carboot sale on Sunday, to get rid of the mountains of baby clothes I have. I am scared I will punch someone.
Otherwise, as little as possible.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Nice dinner tonight, sitting in the garden tomorrow. BBQ tomorrow night - might ask the. neighbours. Sunday I plan on washing and polishing Wilma, our 1949 Buick. Then sitting in the garden some more. A really lazy weekend and the first one for ages. Even more deserved after some family argy-bargy this week....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
