is it just me or are a lot of these shows absolute bobbins.
there seems to be a big rush at the start -- oooooh new tv show but after a few episodes all the characters resolve themselevs into the stereotypes available in all of these tv drama
I mean I do not even watch them but do you have
1) Token gay/lesbian character
2) token character of different ethnic origin than the rest
3) edgy dark character who seems to have something to hide
4) popular character who does have something to hide.
5) token love interest
6) token people who are going to die in the first series.
7) Nerdy guy who fancies the female lead
8) female lead who fancies either 3 or 4
9) guy who can do kung fu
etc etc etc
10) the British villain
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
Err. You might want to "cash in" right now and stop there...
S1 is brilliant. S2 got mauled by the writers' strike. S3 got better although not as good, S4 is recorded in HD on my HD recorder waiting for time to watch.
