Don't need another Heroes

Heroes got worse and worse.

Series one was excellent.

It was downhill all the way from there.

Anyone remember "Point Pleasant"*?


*didn't get past episode 5 from what little I recall.

I always thought Heroes was over rated and only watched the first series to see what all the hype was about.

Ditched it after half a dozen episodes of series 2 and glad I did.

IMHO, the best shows on TV at the moment are 30 Rock & House.

That must have been after I gave up, I only lasted two and a bit series, and I only got that far to watch the lesbo cheerleader.

Heroes suffered a slide in ratings during its second and third series, with fans saying it had a lack of direction.

I suspect fans used stronger language than that. The writers got way above themselves and it ended up with no discernible plot.

Stop at the end of season 1, reason it's getting canceled is after that it pretty much went down the pan

is it just me or are a lot of these shows absolute bobbins.

there seems to be a big rush at the start -- oooooh new tv show but after a few episodes all the characters resolve themselevs into the stereotypes available in all of these tv drama

I mean I do not even watch them but do you have

1) Token gay/lesbian character
2) token character of different ethnic origin than the rest
3) edgy dark character who seems to have something to hide
4) popular character who does have something to hide.
5) token love interest
6) token people who are going to die in the first series.
7) Nerdy guy who fancies the female lead
8) female lead who fancies either 3 or 4
9) guy who can do kung fu


etc etc etc

10) the British villain

I think it is coming to the end of its natural life.

It's obvious that next season he will get it together with Cuddy (lucky bar steward).

S1 is brilliant. S2 got mauled by the writers' strike. S3 got better although not as good, S4 is recorded in HD on my HD recorder waiting for time to watch.

Push through S2, if you're a fan it's worth it.

Look, if I wanted to watch "Breaking Bad" or whatever the f**k it's called I would do. At the moment I'm watching Heroes and will form my own opinion.
