Well I thought they were crap! Needed to start (well not stop) a war to get popular, made people buy houses like commodities, and introduced SATS...

But then again I thought we'd be well on the way to proper Communism now, God (although I don't believe in you), I miss the Soviet Union....

'Soyuz nerushimy respublik svobodnykh', as we sing 'Red' Leeds.....

I think I'll rename myself 'The Commie Contractor' if I was actually in a contract...

Quite why UKIP even exists is a bit beyond me; nobody's serious about the UK going into the Euro and the whole federal Europe policy has already been dumped by the Germans and the French; the big EU states and some of the smaller ones are moving in the direction of cutting EU bureaucracy and bringing it back to being what it should have been; free trade and economic cooperation.

I went to school under the Tories! And uni too.

Seriously though you are a victim of your life and times, I just think Capitalism is grossly unfair and Socialism/Communism in it's social form is a laudable goal most likely due to my circumstances in my formative years.

But I do know Capitalism works and Communism doesn't, just doesn't stop me dreaming!

For us UKIP voters it's not just about the Euro you know. If however, we had got a referendum on Europe from Cameron I'd have voted Conservative even though they are too left wing for my tastes.

One of the primary goals of the EU was to bind countries close enough together that there would be no more wars in western Europe. For all its many faults and been hijacked by federalists at times it has, upto now, fulfilled this for 65 years; which as any history student will tell is a long time.

Churchy, you're complaining that people used their right to vote for who they wanted rather than who you wanted? Even by your standards and the standards of CUK, that's arrogant toss of the highest order.

OTOH, you've proved your moral and intellectual superiority by swearing a lot, it's now clear you are speaking from a position of reason and responsibility rather than acting like a small-minded adolescent having a tantrum. I'm convinced!

On a serious note, 16000, eh? Might be nice to provide a link to whatever the hell you're talking about, or some explanation if it's your own theory. Actually, scrap that, if it's your own theory I don't care...

Here you go. Conservatives hung by just 16,000 votes - Times Online

Hope it helps but you might want to take your blinkers off first and put your penis away while you're reading it, that way you won't be classified as a total w4nker.

I understand that, but I have the impression that UK voters don’t see the political developments in Germany and France; look at what’s happening there and you can only conclude that they wish to move to an EU which is much more compatible with the British views of free trade; the federalist idea is dead, but hasn’t had it’s funeral yet. Give the Germans a few more months though and they’ll be talking with Britain on how to move in the right direction; German voters are sick to the back teeth of bailing out the rest of Europe and would prefer a looser cooperation with more responsible countries, as I would hope Britain will become under a tory/lib government. They're also sick of the bureaucracy and the gravy train, but need like minded allies to put an end to it. Could UKIP voters really object to free trade with Germany, Holland, France etc?
