      How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

        Does this mean that those people (including myself) predicting the return of inflation as the result of quantitative easing were wrong?

        Or does it mean that the "independent" Bank of England is allowed to put inflation concerns aside in favour of growth considerations?
