Why not try and get a used Breitling? eBay have loads -- yes I know! -- but there are lots of reputable dealers trading there. Popular models will hold their value quite well.

Isn't the point of a watch tp keep time, not value?

A watch is a piece of jewelery. If you want the time, look at your phone.

Good second-hand Omegas will keep or increase in value.

Fair point. I had been thinking of no longer wearing a watch for just that reason. I don't always carry a phone, but perhaps at those times I also don't need to know the time.

You haven’t travelled much then. How long does a phone battery last particularly when it’s used for calls? Clock chips in phones are cheap and inaccurate. A good wind-up watch is the most reliable way to tell time no matter where you are. I have navigated with using just a watch several times during my life.

I wear a watch all the time... it never tells the right time though. Seriously pot luck.

Getting home from the pub in time for match of the day is hardly navigating....
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I'd guess it displays the correct time atleast twice each day?
