So before you lose your shirt, chances are you will be quids in.
OK, I decide to go to the casino with £1,000 and when it is gone, or after 100 games, I'll stop.

    1) Stopped at 100 games, made £49, (had been down to -£27)
    2) Made £41.50 (had been down to -£27)
    3) Made £45.50 (had been down to -£15)
    4) Stopped at game 32 having lost the £1000 and still owing an extra £11 so -£1011
    5) Made £26 (had been down to -£116)
    6) Made £36.50 (had been down to -£501.50)
    7) Made £29 (had been down to -£91)
    8) Stopped at game 46 having lost the £1000 and still owing an extra £5.50 so -£1005.50
    9) Made £40 (had been down to -£12)
    10) Made £52 (had been down to -£42)

It is going to take a long time to win that £2000 loss back.

This system will only work if you can place unlimited bets when you are losing. That possibility does not exist in reality.

You WILL end up losing a LOT of money using this system.
You know what you wanna do with that right, you wanna put a bangin' donk on it!
    Put a donk on it!

Thats because the payback on a European roulette wheel is 97.2%. Less than 100%. Therefore you will always lose long term.

      Simples.
What happens in General, stays in General.

Not in this instance, which is the point of the system and this thread: it beats that inevitability.

It fails not because of the payback being < 100%, but because it is reliant upon a potentially infinite stake and an unlimited house limit. In the long term, this system seems to make about £400 per 1,000 games. Just be prepared to take at least £2^16 with you. And be prepared to lose £2^17-1 unless you take £2^17...

Edit: BTW, the European roulette wheel is, IIRC, the highest payback of any form of commercial gambling. And because '0' pays you back half your stake, it is, I think, more like 98.65%

          Regardless.

There is no pattern betting that will beat roulette. There is of course a mechanics based one.

Zero also pays back your stake. Definitely in the UK anyway.

If you can count cards to a reasonable level I believe the odds on winning at blackjack is superior to that of roulette.

Half at my place of gambling worship.

Not a big casino gambler really, once maybe twice a year.
