I tried it on the demo version of roulette. It went red, black, red, black, red, black, black, black, black, black, black, black, black,Zero, Out of chips.Originally posted by minestrone View PostThe system needs refining but it kind of works, it has Ajax, Young Boys, Chelsea, Kettering & Wimbledon as this week picks which will hardly shock a decent gambler.
Now my next system is a killer, if I just never had a job and a 4 hour daily commute I think I could wrap it up in about 100 hours of programming."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

My mate has a bit of a gambling problem and I am sure he adopted the same system when I made the mistake of renting a flat just round the corner from Star City in Sydney. Later did I find out he was broke and gambling with my rent money.Comment

You keep having piddling little wins, until the big loss wipes you out.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostI've made £300, so stopping for today.

Of course, life is like that too.Comment

How much did you pay them for it?Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostSomeone showed me a system to win at roulette
The only way to make money from roulette is to get people to pay to to tell them how to make money from roulette.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Arbitrage is the only way to make money on odds, bet on your Peterborough vs Lincoln's etc, look for different bookies mismatches on odds, bet both ways and you can't lose. Really it's win-win, but...
Cons:
Low returns
Lot of leg work
Bookie can pull the bet, leaving u with a one way bet.
Pros:
Good fun!
If you can put the effort in, you can make a living, maybe only 1 or 2% per bet, but over a week/month/year if you have the time it's loads better than bank rate. Loads.
If I had 5 or 10 grand to spare, I'd rather do this than get 0.3% in the Nationwide.....Comment

Gets out trusty interpreter...Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostYou bet £1 a time.
You only bet on red or black.
If you win, you switch colour and bet £1 again.
If you lose you double your stake on the same colour until you win, and then you switch colour again going back to £1 bet.

The good thing about this system is that in the short term the probability is that you will come out ahead, as the chance of having to double up over a long sequences of losses before you run out of money or reach a house limit is smaller than not doing so. So before you lose your shirt, chances are you will be quids in.
It might be interesting to work out the time it would take to run out of money using multiples other than 2 (doubling up on losses), e.g. with 1.5, 1.3, 2.5, 10, etc, multiples of a losing pot.Comment
