I got a lucrative contract at a small company a couple of years ago on account of someone's porn stash being rumbled.
Unbelievably, a large collection of borderline kiddie porn had been found on this guy's company laptop and the MD had to fire him, very reluctantly as he was the only person familiar with all the perl web apps on which the company relied.
I didn't see the porn, but I gather it involved 13 year old asian boys, or thereabouts, although I imagine it's hard to tell their exact age.
Initially it was a one-week contract, to document these web apps. But I was roped into rewriting them in .Net (which I'd never used until then), and ended up staying for the best part of a year.
