SuperZ noted that it was not nice, but he was one of billions of unhappy people on this planet, so does he really matter ?
I think he does.
This is why.
One early morning as I was walking along the beach
I discovered a figure at a distance moving like a dancer.
As I got closer I noticed that the figure was a young girl
Maybe 9-10 years old and she wasn't dancing.
She was reaching down to the shoreline
Picking up small objects and throwing them into the ocean…
As I came even closer, I said 'Good morning, what are you doing?'
She paused, a little out of breath, looked up and said,
'Throwing starfish into the sea',
'Why are you throwing them back there?' I asked,
She said, 'The sun is getting hot and the tide is going out,
If I don't throw them in, they'll die'.
I couldn't help saying, 'But there are miles of beach
And hundreds of starfish, d'you think it makes a difference?'
She gave me a very serious look and bent down picking up another starfish
And threw it into the sea,
As it splashed into the water she said,
'It makes a difference to that one…'.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

when I posted my "goodness look at all the bicycles" comment it was the typical one from a British poster of invoking some sort of humour to cope with a difficult to comprehend situation.
I suspect this was the similar sort of reaction that was evoked when the OP became aware of the situation first hand which provoked him to make the first post. This is a tragic waste of human life, at least when you consider the effort and chance that went into creating this person. Then you also consider the days that this person lived and the culmination of those days that convinced him or her to conclude on suicide as the only option, and or the untreated health issues that may have contributed.
I can appreciate this is unpalatable for some, but please, in your prayers - to whom they may be - include this person.
This has deeply affected me, before you post.
Thanks

So what happened to the firemen with the trampoline jobbie? Did he miss it?
Did they move it at the last minute?
Did they miss him?
Did he bounce off?
What happened to them?Who has time? Who has time? But then if we do not ever take time, how can we ever have time?Comment

Especially the ones who jump under trains.
They never think of the poor bastard driving the fliping thing, or the inconvenience caused to customers.
One of his jobs, along with kicking in the doors of toilet cubicles and dragging out the junkies who'd od'd in there, was helping recover the bodies after a "one under". By the time the trains had finished with them they came out in chunks, not entirely dissimilar to the large vacuum packed joints you get in a supermarket."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

A little black humour is always there, but this wasn't pleasant. I know precisely the spot where the guy fell, walked past it this morning and you wouldn't notice anything untoward. Still, it sent a shiver up my spine. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
