I drive a 3.8L convertable (sadly not a Shelby) and certainly would never have described it as pretty.....!!
I came up to the point of buying a brand new one and importing it when it was 2 dollars to the point. Fully specced Stang worth $30000+ for the price of a small family car... sorted... Then the fuel prices went through the roof and a quoted 14mpg in the manufacturers literature gave me the eebijeebies...

Still get a pang when I see/hear one passing.

Dad's hobby is classic cars. He currently has a 7L Jensen......! What makes ownership even sweeter is that because the car is older than 25 years he pays ZERO road tax!!

I have still got mine but use it less and less. I do get around 25MPG on it when I use it for a long commute; around town it's sh1te though! Sadly, lack of use and a growing family mean I will probably have to sell it this year!

Yep, a colleague was on holiday in the States a few years ago and when he saw the USD price he just had to have one. Quick phone call back home to get the funds transferred and he was sorted.

He took the precaution of getting a sensible exhaust for the import inspection, but had the proper exhaust system sent separately to fit once that was done

            Very pretty.
Coincidentally there was one parked outside the place I was working at last Friday. This one was white and from the rear I didn't really clock it until the magic letters "S H E L B Y" on the back caught my attention.

It looked much better from the front.
