A very sad precedent had been set on cuk. Those who have met and socialised have formed a clique albeit inintentionally. By meeting the person behind the facade you automatically treat them with more respect online. This in turn means that on an online forum any poster who is outside the clique and posts or gets in a flame(regardless of whether they start it) finds themselves harrangued by multiple posters who feel it acceptable to use unsubtle offensive profanity at the poster. In turn this makes it acceptable for the clique to justify their actions and substantiate their claims against the poster.
