Thanks for the replies , tried them all but none of them worked.

We're going to take the engine to the local swimming pool and see if we can get it to suck some water up. Some of us may have to get in the pool. Any suggestions on suitable attire ?

I suggest you run a cable up to the top of the old clock tower. That should generate enough power should it get hit by lightning. If anyone asks, just say it's a weather experiment.

It worked for me when I was in a pickle once.

Try the local duckpond instead - they are usually only a foot deep.

If it's powerful enough you can try a bird ingestion test at the same time...

Chicken suit, so you can carry out the bird ingestion test at the same time.

Is that enough to generate 1.21 jiggawatts?

                Good work people.

My PM is happy that we can save money by doing the water and bird ingestion tests at the same.

Does anyone know of a 'Bird' who may volunteer to get in the pool.

either attach an attenuator to the T30 line, or try running the turbine hot and dry. You could also try replacing the feedback line with a false reading i.e. attach a watch battery or some such
