Thanks for the replies , tried them all but none of them worked.
We're going to take the engine to the local swimming pool and see if we can get it to suck some water up. Some of us may have to get in the pool. Any suggestions on suitable attire ?But I discovered nothing else but depraved, excessive superstition. Pliny the youngerComment

I suggest you run a cable up to the top of the old clock tower. That should generate enough power should it get hit by lightning. If anyone asks, just say it's a weather experiment.
It worked for me when I was in a pickle once.

Try the local duckpond instead - they are usually only a foot deep.Originally posted by Gibbon View PostThanks for the replies , tried them all but none of them worked.

If it's powerful enough you can try a bird ingestion test at the same time..."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Chicken suit, so you can carry out the bird ingestion test at the same time.Originally posted by Gibbon View PostThanks for the replies , tried them all but none of them worked.

Good work people.
My PM is happy that we can save money by doing the water and bird ingestion tests at the same.
Does anyone know of a 'Bird' who may volunteer to get in the pool. But I discovered nothing else but depraved, excessive superstition. Pliny the youngerComment

either attach an attenuator to the T30 line, or try running the turbine hot and dry. You could also try replacing the feedback line with a false reading i.e. attach a watch battery or some suchOriginally posted by Gibbon View PostI'm currently development testing a water ingestion function in a gas turbine engine and I can't drive the T30 signal low enough to trigger it. Even though I'm at sub idle and NHv has gone through the roof. Could any esteemed member of this board help.
