Anyone want to take any guesses as to who the new Mod/Mods might turn out to be?

All anonymous. Round here, becoming a moderator would cause no end of arguments and possibly change the interaction between the users - would you be more wary of arguing / joking about something with cojak if she were a mod (for example). Look at the reaction this morning to Troll becoming a moderator.Originally posted by Xenophon View PostAnyone want to take any guesses as to who the new Mod/Mods might turn out to be?
That's why I never let you lot know that I was administrator all along.Comment

Yep, FAQQers got a point - I did think about this before I put my hand up. I know your joshing with me will change (even if you say not). But I also believe that the good wishes of many means that there would be less fireworks than Troll (I also know when to stay out of those kind of threads...Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostAll anonymous. ).
But my posting won't change (much), I would never let an argument descend into petty banning. I've had spats MF and FAQQer (some old, some new) but irritation with someone, is that, irritation. I like (most of) you and it doesn't last long. I don't like some behaviour and I'm prepared to stand up to it, but I do that now without a moderator's hat on. I've never used the ignore list either...
And I would let the other moderators moderate me before I'd do it myself. I've been in other forums where mods are as chatty and sarky as the others, it doesn't spoil them.
Anyway, admin would still do the tough stuff, I'd be mainly just shuffling posts into the right forums and keeping out spambots....

[QUOTE=administrator;1092977]Sorry, a mean trick to play. Troll hit his 5k posts and wanted a custom title. I said he could have it for 24 hours but had to relent already - some people spotted he was not on the forum leaders list and also some people did not find it amusing...

No. NO! I wont have it you know! Some people on this BB didn't find it funny. You're suggesting that they have had a Humour Bi-Pass!!!???!!!
