It also says he has returned to Liverpool, got involved in a fight, and the latest allegation involves child pornography. They can't all be right (edit: okay, I guess it's possible he did all of the above).

However, I do feel that when an offender who is out on parole re-offends, then the public do have a right to know the nature of the offence because we have a right to judge for ourselves the effectiveness of letting prisoners out early.

Not at all - he is out on licence. Any minor infraction (and I concede that this does not appear to be the case) would result in him going back inside.

He probably has committed numerous minor infractions - and they turned a blind eye. Maybe if they put him back - this "serious offence" wouldn't have occurred.

(BTW, MF's attempt at a joke was seriously lame. Didn't the whole Ant and Dec distinction thing become old about five years ago, and the digs at Scousers about ten years before that?)
