No no no, barolo is the wine of the gods. Great choice my man!Originally posted by cojak View PostYes, far too heavy!
I'd prefer a nice Pinot Grigio myself...Comment

So should I stop at the Albert Heijn and buy a Pinot Cheapio for the good lady?
More barolo for me.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Pinot Grigio is a woofter wine that doesn’t know what it is. The only good grape with the word Pinot in it is Pinot Noir, and it’s at it’s best in Cote d’Or, Sonoma or Oregon. Pinot Grigio’s a compromise for hairdressers, rather like broccoli’s a hairdresser’s vegetable, missing the taste of kale and the chunky nourishment of cauliflower. Truly an example of something which is less than the sum of it’s parts. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Bruno Giacosa Barolo Falletto 1995. NOT Fratelli Giacosa; they're mediocre in comparison.Originally posted by norrahe View PostPhew! And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

I need to restock my wine cellar (aka the large rack under the stairs). Mehinks I'll be going though the lists of things i like and putting an order in at my local merchant.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostBruno Giacosa Barolo Falletto 1995.
