Frank Field being interviewed on Radio 4 where he talks about the recession immigration, serious, serious unrest to come, etc. He seemed so sensible and plausible all the way through that I had to Wiki him, but discovered that he is actually a Tory.

ISTR the only reason he joined Labour was because he couldn't stomach the Tories' policies on apartheid. -
I get the impression that Frank Field is actually a conservative, but likes to represent poorer people and constituencies in parliament and knows that the only way to get elected in those places is to stand for the LieBore party.
