Probably not.
If you live in England long enough to get citizenship then getting it is a no-brainer.
I know two kiwis who stayed long enough to get UK citizenship, one of them went through a sham marriage to get it too. They are both permanently back in New Zealand now.Comment

Outside of the City and its salaries there's precious little to attract anyone here: not the weather,not the rail service, road system, NHS, size of houses or economy.
