My son has been diagnosed with aspergers and I think I exhibit traits of it - The notice small noises thing is apt for me as it drives me nuts! That's probably a good excuse for putting my IPod on!

Well, I do do a lot more looking after other developers & writing specs these days.

I have worked with people with Apserger's syndrome and they can function OK, you just have to be prepared for them taking everything you say literally and not understanding your jokes.

I have one nephew who is fully autistic and he is very happy working with machines or computers but he cannot interact with people at all.
