Listening to the BBC I though I heard that a suspected Heathrow warehouse armed robber Peter Blake was being tried by a judge because he is too dangerous. In the past he has threatened jurors but today he was attending trial. Peter Blake was not held in custody for the trial so he went for a lunch time walk and never came back. He is too dangerous to be approached by the public.

He must have struck a deal, either returning loot or stitching up accomplices, and been allowed to "escape".

Nobody could be incompetent enough to let someone like him escape accidently.
