She's from the PCG I think?Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson -
Ahhhh. That explains all. No other contractor would take the risk of such hatred."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Reading that I do wish people would not blurt out fixed day rates, 300 hundred a day gets turned into 75 grand a year and then the message is instantly turned against us.Originally posted by BenchMaster View PostShe has form - interview she gave to The Guardian last April on the same subject.Comment

So what if rates have been cut, most businesses have been suffering in the recession, why should IT contractors be any different.Originally posted by BenchMaster View PostShe has form - interview she gave to The Guardian last April on the same subject.
If you don't like the rate cut and think you can get more elsewhere then don't renew your contract. If you think they are taking the piss then refuse to renew on a lower rate and walk if necessary
The fact that she's willing to take 90% rather than 0% home suggests that she doesn't fancy her chances outside of contract.
Its not good but why should out little consultancy companies get special consideration? We're contractors not permies!Coffee's for closersComment
