Many years ago, when Sunday opening was rare, especially in Scotland, a Jewish barber operated on Sundays in the Barrowlands market area, which did open on Sundays. He was taken to court for doing business on a Sunday.

insh’allah means "God willing" or "If it is God's will" - it's ingrained so much that saying it might not mean more than when I say "Thanks God!", for I am insh’allah atheist.

Indeed, but I have the impression that migrant muslims sometimes become more orthodox than the muslims in muslim countries. OK, so Turkey is officially secular, but most people are muslims; go to Istanbul and you're never more than a few yards from a pub. Most of the customers are moderate muslims. You see muslims drinking in Indonesia, in Pakistan, India and other places, not in huge amounts but they're there. There are a few breweries in Pakistan and their customers are not only christians. I heard from an Iranian chap here at clientco that there's a trade in bootleg booze in Iran and many people have a drink at home; Iranians aren't all radical, certainly in Tehran.

Perhaps, but then there aren't a lot of 100% convinced atheists in the world. Most people remain at least nominally religious and say a prayer from time to time.
