Bear & wild boar in Moscow.

I have eaten swordfish and shark on my travels in the South Pacific. I won't eat shark now having swum with so many of them - I think they are beautiful creatures that deserve to be left alone.

Does Kobe beef still count as exotic?

Being near the top of the food chain, swordfish are also said to be infested with mercury.

They say you're not supposed to eat more than one swordfish steak a week, for that reason.

I sampled it and you didn't miss much.

There's something about eating carnivore's that's just not right imho.

Is that to do with a form of BSE in wild game?

I've had snake, ostrich and kangaroo - the last two were fairly often on the canteen menu at Nestlé HQ.

A dish made of fish stomach (don't know which one) was surprisingly delicious.

For breakfast yesterday I had scrambled eggs topped with caviar. Very yummy.
