      Maybe, but I hate FWD cars. Some decent winter tyres on a cheap RWD car with snow chains just in case and it shouldvery well

        If the engine isn't over the back you can chuck a couple of sacks of cement in the boot to help you gain traction in the snow.

                  Ford kuga is good value

                  the Honda CRV and Toyota Rav4 are a lot of money for a Jap motor

                  Audi is a nice all rounder, good name, good car, specification and price, is, manageable
