Mine is down 64% from the last oneOriginally posted by TriggerHippy View Post.. an encouraging run on people signing contracts recently .
A nice, long (6 mnth) contract landing in my lap this morning has just knocked Plan B back into hibernation for a while.
Rate is about 15% down from my last one though.

I've been for interviews where they switch off as soon as they realise all my work for the past 8 years has been contract, daft really as I have a wealth of experience compared to a permy who has only experienced one way of doing things.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
