Instead of repeatedly making the same mistakes, do something different. Because if everyone followed the "oh, just vote for the other lot" there is no point carrying on with this time-wasting and expensive farce of a pretend democracy.
Because ideologically Tory governments are naturally laissez faire. They do not believe in the state controlling our lives and nor are they motivated by envy.

On the other hand they are believers in the capitalist system which means survival of the fittest.

Either way the poor are going to be poor but at least the Tories wont chop down the money trees that create the wealth. Historically the Tories are better than at managing money.

However if you really want to oust the Labour Government the only real alternative is Conservative - Liberal Democrat is a wasted vote.
Surely that depends on the constituency.

It could be a protest if spoiled ballot papers were counted, but I believe the numbers are not published. Please correct me if this is not the case.

Indeed. Only the blue votes are counted round here, so there's little point voting for anyone else.

Last time I voted in Oxford the Lib Dems took the west, and Labour took the east. Mr Mark said he'd vote Lib Dem: it might be worth it there.

So vote Monster Raving Loony for a protest. Vote single issue, it will tell the parties the votes are there if they take the approach you want on this issue. Vote for an independent who will take care of the local constituency it will tell them to field a candidate who will take care of the local constituency.

I normally admit to naughty things, but I'm NOT doing it this time.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
