Software License Specialist Contract
We are looking for accomplished Software License Specialist.
Role details are as follows:
Background
Client has a program of activity reviewing and standardising its processes in relation to Asset and Configuration Management and Software licence Management.
In addition it is centralising much of this activity.
A number of Software License Specialists are required to assist in the delivery of one or more of the following work streams;
Ø Implementation of a centralised approach to software licence management, including global reconciliations.
Ø Software License entitlement gathering and uploading into central repository
Ø Implementing best practices for the management of Definitive Media Library.
Ø Delivering Global license compliance across multiple business areas.
Role
To contribute to the successful delivery of one or more of the above work streams as defined above.
The role is part of a large team reporting to a Project Delivery Manager and will require the management of a number of virtual reports to enable delivery against an agreed project plan.
Key Skills
Essential
Prior software licence management experience.
Previous experience of license reconciliations
Ability to deliver to challenging timescales
Preferred
Qualified to ITIL foundation Level
Knowledge of a wide range of technologies
Asset Management experience.
Awareness of responsibilities of Vendor Management

No suprise that TechMahindra is the company. This is exactly what they did at BT where jobs were advertised at way below the market rates so that they could go and bring Bob & co in to do the job when nobody applied. At BT they advertised my mates job for 170 a day - he was on 350. He applied for his own job at thier rate and they wouldn't even consider him.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
