Seriously, if someone could set this up it might be reported in the press and show up these large companies hiring Indian contractors on cheap rates.
Unfortunatley no-one cares if you're in a minority getting shafted by the government. Thatcher shafted the miners and steelworkers, Blair shafted the farmers - Mr Average probably thinks cheaper is automatically better just like the politicians.

No suprise that TechMahindra is the company. This is exactly what they did at BT where jobs were advertised at way below the market rates so that they could go and bring Bob & co in to do the job when nobody applied. At BT they advertised my mates job for 170 a day - he was on 350. He applied for his own job at thier rate and they wouldn't even consider him.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

            I preferred version 1!

Is this the sort of evidence the PCG are collecting ? I suspect they will just say £190 a day is £40K+ pa which is the going rate ( or better ) for the the role.

Perhaps 40k a year is the going permie rate for that role but the permie headline rate is not the overall cost of emoployment. On top of that 40k is employers NI, pension contributions, training and holiday/sickness pay. That 40k is more like 60k with everything taken into account.

What we found at BT was they basically advertised the roles at half the day rate
