Classroom based, nice location, plenty of scope to become very rich.

It doesn't look like rocket science to me (having used 2 week prototype / present / develop / repeat cycles of development). And it does come up on Jobserve.
If you can get the certificate that quickly, don't introduce yourself to me as a scrum master.

I thought he was talking about the cycles.

I'd do the Microsoft SQL 2008 Data Analysis cert that's comprised of 3 or 4 exams. Lots of useful stuff in there. I might do it in a bootcamp when my current gig's up.

Well in theory you can take the exam straight after the two-day training course (£1000ish) .. on its own I guess it's not much use though

Except it ticks a box on the shortlisting questionnaire.

Scrum Master training is what I shall do.

              - must be classroom-based √
              - must have an exam / practical test at the end that results in a pass/fail √
              - ideally should be a qualification of some sort √

Do you mean the Business Intelligence Certification? I fancy some of that myself, or if there is a specific data analysis one, that too. However, it's probably a waste of my time.

What I should do is something to do with business. Maybe get certified for trading/analysis from the financial regulatory bodies in the US/UK.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

                  Hairdressing.

I'm not sure if there is an exam format but I imagine there would be.

My mates missus is a trendy hairdresser a does mobile hairdressing and charges an average of around £40 per client - I think it is around £30 for a blokes trim and she sometimes does the whole family in one sitting. Now if she does around a ten hour day and fits in around 8 clients a day that is £240 per day. I know she does well over a grand a week, is all cash and although probably quite hard work isn't as soul destroying as sitting at a computer screen all week.

                    Ever so slightly, definitely yes.

Private catering, is a nice way of coining it in, especially canape parties.

Shame my business partner b*ggered orf to Devon and I couldn't get a replacement. Hours could be carp but it was enjoyable.

Unfortunately the people who would employ you for said parties were the very ones who tightened their belts when the recession kicked in.
