I have only 25 downlighters, but over the last 3 years I have purchased 20W bulbs and have halved my bills.

Now I have 17 x 20W and 8 x 1W Leds but the latter aren't really bright enough. And the conversion cost including a new transformer for each light is about £10 per fitting. Not really saving me any money or the environment because I bought them from China via eBay.

I'm guessing DimPrawn lives in his mind like in the movie Being John Malcovich.

you have arrived in hell mr prawn those lights are horrid and expensive and when the switches breakdown they flash, i lived somewhere once and our kitchen lights flashed for 20 mins everytime you turned them on at the end. bad for hangovers
