It's a case of Britain now seems to want to roll over and comply as far as foreign nationals are concerned, the country as a whole seems to have forgotten it's identity or seems to want to hide it.
With widespread immigration to the UK why is it the country seems to want to change the way they do things and pander to all the nationalities that come here.
No other country does this, you move to any other country and you adapt, learn the language if necessary and abide by the rules and respect the laws
Here you don't have to learn the language, the local councils are bound to have literature on benefits etc... in the language of your choice.
Having lived in East London for some time there were countless families did not speak English at all, this country has demonstrated how easy it is not to assimilate and still get by.
As someone who has lived here for nearly 17 years it astounds me what has happened, it also annoys me when people move over here and complain about the culture (what's left of it) and simply don't want to fit in.
Many other countries manage to be multicultural without losing their own national and cultural identities. They also manage to help those who emigrate to become part of the community, to learn the language and cope with laws and customs all without losing their own cultural identity
Yes, most of us moan about what the country has become etc.. and we are entitled to an opinion, irrespective of country of origin, as long as we contribute and respect where we live.Comment

i think that anyone who whinges about their host's laws and conditions etc should be strung up and left to swing in the breeze
