I need to have someone reasonably official to witness signature that I put to a document, are there notary services in this country that do such a thing?

Any solicitor should do what you want.How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

It's not panic, just want to finish it off before new year - the document is fully ready (prepared by rather expensive lawyers).
Anyway thanks, I'll give it a go next week, hopefully some lawyers are working in this country...Comment

The Notarized lot are a rip off. All solicitors have to witness documents for £5. I went to one city big firm solicitor and got one of my divorce papers done for a £5 : it was a great laugh watching him cry.Originally posted by AtW View Post

Yeh solicitor. It was only a few £ from memory although I didn't have to pay it, I made a statement on behalf of somebody else.bloggoth
