Do you think he meant to say "nuts"?“They get under the engine because there is nothing to stop them and it is warm.
“This squirrel seems to have been stacking his food on top of the engine like he was roasting nuts and it has damaged part of the ignition system.
“We have had to replace the ignition coil and plug coils.
“And we have removed the squirrel’s lunch.”

Probably red squirrels, greys are smart and they use scatter approach to burying nuts, rather than hoarding.
One could say if City bankers were more like grey squirrels they would not be losing all their stash.Comment
