1. Legalise drugs. Not such a daft idea. Decimalise the use of drugs, allow testing of purity so that additives such a talc are detected and removed. Allow hard drugs on prescription. The saving would be addicts not getting ill through contamination, drug addicts not turning to stealing from cars or prostitution, less police time wasted, less insurance claims.

2. Legalise prostitution. Remove prostitution from the streets and take care of vulnerable girls (and men) especially drug addicts. Legalise brothels and run heath checks. This would stop trafficking and abuse. It would stop wasting police time.

3. Legalise firearms. This is already legal, you can apply for a licence.
