that'd work fine unless a certain dabs employee working in the packing dept is planning on giving someone special a few 2Tb hard disks for xmas...The proud owner of 125 Xeno Geek Points -
They dont do phone support anymore sent them message, dispatch note in the box says 10. Just 1 box was meant to be delivered, they'd better not fk upOriginally posted by RichardCranium View Post
Have you not 'phoned them? They probably only had 8 in stock and meant to put 2 on order for later delivery. They will know how many they had in stock when the order was fulfilled.

For reference, Aria are up the road from me and I've used them for years. Small fry compared to Dabs but very good.Comment

I've never had a problem with dabs. I've used them for years. Their charges are competitive. I struggle to find 100base-T cables cheaper. And sometimes their cockups are in your favour - like the time I got a £400 printer for £150!
Also never had a problem with returns..no charge either.McCoy: "Medical men are trained in logic."

Yeah dabs are very good - had maybe at least 30 orders with them so far. They might be last ones though...Comment

As with most online retailers they're fine as long as you don't need to actually speak to anyone.Originally posted by AtW View PostYeah dabs are very good - had maybe at least 30 orders with them so far. They might be last ones though...
Bit difficult to print a return label for minus two disks though.

It's the worst case when stuff is missing - usually people don't buy many items - I should have used credit card to pay for goods, that would make disputes a bit easierOriginally posted by Pondlife View PostAs with most online retailers they're fine as long as you don't need to actually speak to anyone.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust Dabs' stock control system to know how much of anything it has. I tried ordering an internet radio last month. The main page said it was in stock, the page detailing the item stated it was in stock, the order receipt said it was in stock. How ever it was not in stock and hadn't been so for a couple of months apparently.Originally posted by RichardCranium View Post
