Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.

      Oh! Get her!
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Spiders are carnivorous so are probably innocent.

              However,

There is a greater mass of insect life on and around the Earth than there is mammalian life. Most of it is vegetarian.

              Therefore,

Insect farts are probably damaging the climate more than all the cows farting.

Therefore, as the world would be imperilled by destruction of insect life, and we (I) need steak and roast beef, we should kill off all the elephants, buffalo, Bison, wildebeest, antelopes etc. to reduce emissions from ruminants Yes

Himalayan glacier meltdown... oh hang on maybe not

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
