      Descent was quite scary.

Toss up between Kate and (Resident Evil) Milla Jovovich ...
The close proximity of the letters 'G' and 'T' are the reason I'll never again send an important email and end it with "Regards" ....

I'm not into all that 'torture porn' crud either.

I saw 3 of the hellraiser films and that was enough for me!

Carry on Screaming ( I know its not really horror - but i LOVE IT ANYWAY)
The Ring - Japanese NOT the remake
The Haunting - really scary atmospheric film -
I found A Clockwork Orange quite horrible - but not sure if it's classed as a 'horror film'

            The Exorcist
Alien - its a horror story in space.
            Carrie
            Christine

Also "Night of the Demon" (the B&W version) and Psycho.

Yeah well .... neither Scott Speedman or Bruce Willis float my boat ...

Salem's Lot. Scared the carp out of me when I was a kiddie and still enjoy watching it now.

I like the cheesy Hammer films too.

The Shining is probably the best. Enjoy all the silly zombie films by Romero and Raimi as well as the Carpenter stuff. Does Audition count as a horror (more a psychological thriller)?
