I havent saved a pennie from this contract and im worried next year, im gonna be benched?!

I ask you CUK - How do you handle le wife and finances?
Clearly your wife is not satisfied with you and feels the need to compensate with material goods.

Maybe you should up your game at home.

My wife handles the finances, and tucks money away for rainy days (I'd spend it). She hides money away and never know how much we actually have, so I'd suggest you do the same with your wife.

+ cut up her credit and store cards, give her a fixed allowance.

Oh! and break both her legs so she can't go out.

WHS (apart from the bit about breaking legs, which was a bit harsh).

            Never heard of internet shopping?

My wife loves her designer shoes, handbags, dresses, jewelry etc... but she's actually pretty good about not actually buying anything herself.
She just whines and whines as her birthday/christmas approaches with plenty of name dropping so I know what to get (she's also smart enough now to make sure I automatically check the returns policy before buying her anything )

                There is an alternative
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

An alternative would be to make sure that you're both as commited to looking after the family.
