Swine Flu jab for kiddies?

It's no differnet to the normal flu jab. Produced in the same way and works in the same way. It contains a dose of inert virus material that triggers an immune response without actually infecting you.

The usual flu jabs work in exactly the same way. They change the inert virus used every year and the choice is based on best efforts at predicting which flu strains will be prevalent in any given year.

The Swine flu one is just tailored specifically for that strain.

If you'd normally get your kid immunised for flu then go ahead and do it, it's no differant. If you don't there is no particular reason to rush out and do it for this one, it's entirely down to you.

I think it's still being used to treat leprosy.

you are right and sadly some pregnant mothers have been taking it and kids with disabilities being born all over again 50 years on - makes you want to weep.

I doubt if they'll be able to get the needle in then, unless they bring the green kryptonite.

They offered the missus the jab and she refused point blank. She has seen more dosage fck ups and mistakes than the late Dr H.Shipman.

Well, it's you that will have to deal with your Missus after she's had 2 weeks off looking after the mite at home if he gets it.
