They rattle their sabre to appease their mullahs who think they can be a major voice on the worlds stage. Truth be known, they're piss-ants, a mere trifle. They know it and the rest of the world knows it.
Iran does just enough to appease the rest of the world to prevent itself being turned into glass.
They're nothing more than a bothersome neighbour.
However I'd cheerfully nuke Pakistan.
If you know some history of Iran you might understand.
In WW2 Persia was a neutral county but was occupied by the UK because the UK needed oil.
After WW2 BP stayed in Persia and controlled the 100% of the oil.
In 1953 the elected prime minister Mossadegh nationalized the Anglo Iraninan Oil Company (PB) and because of that he was removed from power by a coup d'état setup by the UK and CIA.
Shah Reza was put in power by the UK and US.
The Shah was kept in power by the brutal secret police Savak.
Savak was run by the CIA and was manned by members of Mossad (Israeli secret police).
The US and UK fearful of Russian influence financed the Mujahidin who pushed out the Russian from Afghanistan.
After Afghanistan the Mujahidin turned on overthrowing the Sha against the wishes of the US.
After the Iranian revolution Mujahidin were deposed by the Mullahs.
The US and UK then sponsored the war with Iraq attacking Iran.
5,000,000 Iranian were killed in the war by Iraq and the US.
Do you still wonder why Iran acts like they do today?"A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment
