I want to apologise for the jokes and things I have posted that might have caused offence. I didn't realise how sensitve most of you are. I can see now how my post might have offended people of a soft nature like Churchill for example. I will try and refrain from posting such things again.

On reflection, in my earlier post I may have given the wrong impression about my opinions of Germans, or indeed that I had any specific "opinion" about them.

The fact is I was posting in a tearing hurry and misphrased my post. As it happens the German guy I was talking about has a good sense of humour, and it was more a criticism of myself for laughing at his misfortune (breaking a rib while coughing).

I still can't help thinking it's a bit comical though. I mean it's unlikely to be life-threatening unless he actually sneezes
