I was 16 when Doolittle came out - a very formative time in life and their music has stuck with me ever since, and those albums bring back great memories of those times and never cease to put a smile on my face.

Saw them in the reunion tour in 2004 and that was superb as well.

Don't understand how you could find them pretentious, never heard them called that before.

    What music really moves you?
    No particular group or band.

Just thought I'd cast my line and see if you bit.

There are certain people who I think have a marvellous talent either vocally or with an instrument.

One of my favourite songs is "Rainy Night in Georgia". I particularly like Brook Benton's rendition - in fact I think Brook Benton and Dinah Washington were both very talented.

To be fair Churchill, you aren't really into "modern" music - you prefer older style stuff... although I'm slowly and painfully convincing you that Indi doesn't actually make your ears bleed.

For the record - I'm not a big fan of Muse either - just not my cuppa.

I saw them at V a few years back, fantastic show but Faithless beat them on pure 'dance-your-ass-off' atmosphere.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

So, that link is supposed to override our personal taste? Just because somebody else likes that music doesn't mean we all should.

                    Wow hypocritical and argumentative.
