Aye, they're renowned as an awesome live act. I've seen them live a couple of times (last time was earlier this month) and they have a much harder/rockier edge compared to their studio sound, and put on a good show.Originally posted by snaw View PostI like em, and live they're meant to be incredible.Where are we going? A very highly regarded band by many people, a big influence on the music scene at the time including Nirvana, who cited them as an influence.Originally posted by Churchill View PostPretentious tulipe!
The first albums were amazing and to me, like nothing else that was around at the time.
I was 16 when Doolittle came out - a very formative time in life and their music has stuck with me ever since, and those albums bring back great memories of those times and never cease to put a smile on my face.
Saw them in the reunion tour in 2004 and that was superb as well.

Don't understand how you could find them pretentious, never heard them called that before.
