I dont know what you think of this idea.
In another thread, a comment was made about banning patio heaters. Fair-do's, I agree, but what about the idea of having eco-friendly outdoor heaters, say for keeping smokers warm outside pubs.
It should be possible to attach beer glasses to a string or something, so that every time you lift it up, you turn a crank shaft, that generates some electricty. I call this beergoNomics i.e. harnessing the work done in drinking a pint of beer. Solar panels, a little wind turbine, couls all help.
Similarly, moving stools and tables could be harvested, and, most important - harnessing the power of the female jaw.
