      Last time I was in a permie job ten years ago I spent quite a bit of time at a customer site in Gateshead.

      In its favour I can say that late at night the industrial estate where we were is a great place to practice handbrake turns in your company car, especially if it has been raining.

      But I can't think of anything else.

          Durham was the first city in the UK to have a congestion charge, IIRC.

          And full of bloody students that wanted to get to Oxford but couldn't get in.

          And National Savings staff.
