But I know deep down inside you want to be popular. You want to be loved like the love you dream of, but that your mother never gave you ... people opions do matter to you, you crave their acceptance, but alas you are a tw*t. You'll always be a tw*t.

Well done, you've made me go all worthless inside. I might have to go and have a cry about how some muppet on a forum thinks I'm a twat.

I don't understand that. Surely having the world champ attracts more sponsorship?

As somebody said sometime ago, the potential sponsors are not sure of Brawn yet and the perception seems to be that their winning was a fluke... Even when they'd won the first few races and looked a good bet for the championship they couldn't secure long term sponsors.

I don't really understand why not, but there is a recession on...

Button didn't even win the feeder formula into F1, but he had a better PR machine behind him. IRRC the guy who won it (by some margin) got a few runs in a rubbish team and that was it.

It seem Vettle is probably the best drive in F1 at the moment.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

They want to stamp their own identity on the team, and that means German drivers.

Same happened with Damon Hill in the 90s, who was booted out by Williams after he won the WDC.

True - I'd forgotten that. In that case I hope Button gets the McLaren drive and they win the next championship.

Hill was demanding far more money than Williams wanted to pay, so took the money that was on offer from Arrows.

Just checked Marc Hynes won the formula 3 championship with Luciano Burti second and Jenson Button third. Marc Hynes, wonder what happened to him? He was British but didn't have the PR machine.
