This is not the natural world - this is deepest suburbia.

Show the bugger what happens when it tangles with the EO massive and teach it a lesson that it won't forget when it and the little 'un cross paths again...

        Natural world??

20 cats per 100 square kilometers is natural. 4 in one house and garden, plus an interloper, that's overpopulation.

Well, short of stoving its head in with a shovel, there isn't much you can do.

You could however, get rid of your cats, and break the cycle of creature incarceration/dependence for human pleasure.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
