MySQL Error : Table 'post' is marked as crashed and should be repaired Error Number : 1194
Think that probably had something to do with it
Have repaired the table so that should help a bit. Think the server has a dodgy disk too

I don't want to lecture you but a 'dodgy disk' can degrade quite quickly ...Originally posted by administrator View PostMySQL Error : Table 'post' is marked as crashed and should be repaired Error Number : 1194

Although database fail doesn't help, one thing that is particularly noticeable when connecting via one's phone is that the Google Analytics script is loaded just after the logo at the top of each page.
The GA script is notorious for sometimes being slow to load. Unfortunately any script tag prevents the browser from any further parsing or rendering of the page, as the script may use 1997-style document.write() techniques to modify the ensuing content.
Shifting the GA script to just above the closing of the body would at least allow
the content to be laid out and displayed whilst the browser is waiting. This might mean that any reliance on onload handlers being executed at the same moment that the page is displayed would have to be rethought, but that shouldn't be a problem - I manage to post from my iPhone before all the smilies have finished arriving sometimes, and onload won't fire until they've all rocked up
